The Best Trailers of the First Semester of 2019!

Publicidad

2019 seems to be a great year for audiovisual entertainment, though we’re barely halfway through, a lot of mindblowing trailers for upcoming movies have already been released, and since we all love the big screen, we have comprised a list of some of the best trailers that 2019 has given us so far.

Movie Trailers

The Lion King

If you were a kid on the ‘90s or if you just enjoy touching stories, then you probably loved “The Lion King.” Disney knows exactly how to make us fall in love with a movie, but this time they don’t even have to, we already do; it’s almost painful to wait until July 19 to see the new live-action movie.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil

Speaking of Disney’s live-action movies, the sequel to “Maleficent” will be released on October 18; the talented Angelina Jolie never let us down, and this year we will see her interpret the evil, iconic character a second time.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

The 9th episode of the Star Wars saga will hit theaters on December, and we already have a teaser. Fans’ opinions on episode 8 were very divided; some people liked the movie, while others hated it; hopefully, we will all love this one.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

You don’t know much about this one? Well, here’s a few names that may catch your attention: Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Al Pacino, Quentin Tarantino… Ok, you get the point. If there is a promising movie this year, it’s this one.

Dr. Sleep

Do you like horror movies? Did you love “The Shining”? Well, after 39 years, the well-known adaptation is getting a sequel called “Dr. Sleep,” based on The New York Times best-seller Stephen King’s novel of the same name. “Dr. Sleep” will hit theaters on November 8.

IT: Chapter Two

We can’t get enough Stephen King’s stories, so let’s talk about “It.” This remake was well received by the audience and critics, so it’s no surprise that the second part has built tremendous expectation. On September 6, the losers club will reunite one more time to beat Pennywise the clown, and they’re all grown up.

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark

Since this is getting kind of creepy, this is the last horror movie on the list. “Scary stories to tell in the dark” is based on the children’s book series of the same name by Alvin Schwartz. The film is directed by André Øvredal and the story was written by Guillermo del Toro.

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw

Are you a fan of Hollywood action movies? Well if you are, you better mark August 2 on the calendar because the Fast & Furious spin-off, Hobbs & Shaw is coming up, and it looks pretty cool, a bit of humor here, a lot of action there… Take a look at its trailer.

Sonic The Hedgehog

The trailer was very controversial because of the Sonic animation; the good news is that Paramount Pictures listened to the fans’ complaints and our beloved hedgehog will have some changes made to its physical appearance. The bad news is that the release date has been postponed to February 14, 2020. Hopefully, the wait will be worth it.

Joker

We already have a lot of superhero movies, but we do not have enough villain films. The Joker is one of the most iconic characters in comic book history, and thanks in part to Heath Ledger’s interpretation of the Gotham villain, fans ended up loving the character more than ever. On October 3, we will get a whole movie about Batman’s nemesis, so remember to put on a happy face…

All these trailers look fantastic, we can’t wait for the movies to come out. Which one is your favorite?
